How To Change Perspective Towards Life....

Change Your Perspective, Change Your Life

It's never the situation that's at fault, it is just the way we choose to view it.

I sometimes believe that our greater culture likes being overly negative and pessimistic. We love over-criticizing everything, having no hope for beautiful things, and losing fond admiration for the silly, whimsical aspects of life.

It's an attitude that I believe is corrupting our capability to strive for greatness in our lives. Truth is, if you want to be great in this life, you have to model that greatness in your thinking.

You have to open your eyes up to the beauty in front of you and celebrate it.

Perspective is defined as a particular attitude or a way of thinking about circumstances. Our perspective is the window through which we view our life’s experiences.

So here are 7 secrets that have helped me keep an idyllic perspective on life. May you treasure them and make them your own.

1. Always Look for something positive.

The positive side of life is that we are blessed to embrace it and what each new day brings. All of the challenges that come at us just make it more fun.

If life was perfect, it would be so boring and that is very important to remember. We should have fun while we are here and not worry about the future.

All we are promised is the present moment. If we dwell on what has happened or what will happen to us in the future, our life isn’t going to be very fun.

Keeping a positive mental attitude and always looking at the bright side of life I believe will keep you young for as long as you live. Look at the bright side of things and laugh like never before and you will find peace in this world.

2. Practice gratitude.

Gratitude helps people refocus on what they have instead of what they lack. And, although you may feel contrived at first, this mental state grows stronger with use and practice.

Showing gratitude can make you feel more satisfied with you are in life and the people and situations you surround yourself with.

If you're feeling negative, think of something that you're grateful for to focus on something that gives you joy and can banish the worries and moodiness.
Showing gratitude towards everyone will help you to grow and change your view towards life , so practice gratitude and see the results.

    3. Consider other people's views and perspectives.

If you're interacting with someone else, think of his or her perspective and how it compares to your own. Talking to others will help you solve your problems. Ask them about their perspective about your point and consider it. Their suggestions may solve your problem or help you get to a conclusion. Don't hesitate to ask for help.

4. Write Down Negative Thoughts.

negative thoughts

Take note of the ones that make you feel sad, negative, or stuck. Writing down these thoughts can be therapeutic, as it's a way of distancing them, once written you can even throw out the paper when done.

5. The No. 1 cause of death for passion is envy.

Don't be jealous of others

You get nowhere constantly comparing yourself to other, more successful people. Use that time instead to cultivate your passion into something world-changing.

Ignorance is the mother of all poisons. It’s the belief that things are fixed and permanent.
When we see that someone is doing better than us, rather than focus on how we can improve, we get stuck on the current status.

That’s why comparisons are deceiving: there are always people that are better and worse than us.

When we compare, we see things as static. We look outside (what others have) rather than inside (what we can change).

6. Be quick to forgive others, not blame others.

forgiveness

Instead of looking to justify ourselves when situations arise, search for the greater peace that could be had. Accept responsibility if that's what needs to happen, and move on to correct the situation.

Having formed the habit of blaming others regarding our own sinfulness, we naturally turn to it when others do wrong. We are quick to point the finger of blame rather than respond with genuine forgiveness.

Not only are we to forgive ourselves, but our unwillingness to forgive others also follows close behind. It’s time to stop that timeworn cycle.

         7. Life is happy when you celebrate little victories.

Every achievement, regardless of its size, deserves a reward. Whether it’s cooking your favorite meal, watching a fun movie, or purchasing some new clothes, you should always take the time to reward yourself. This helps you build your motivation and keep winning.
Be proud of your achievements, and speak about them with fulfillment and enthusiasm. When you verbalize your wins, you’re reinforcing them, and this motivates you to continue. Sharing your wins may also inspire others to reach for their goals, as well so everybody wins.
As you work towards achieving your goals, always remember to acknowledge how far you’ve come. Get in the habit of celebrating each small success.
Your little wins add up to big things. One easy way to remember to celebrate is to have Fabulous remind you! Add “Celebrate!” to one of your daily rituals today.

Truth is, if you want to be great in this life, you have to model that greatness in your thinking. You have to open your eyes up to the beauty in front of you, and celebrate it. Only then will we be in the right mindset to enact change in our culture.

Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t let the noise of other opinions drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become.
